Meaning of Home?

Home is defined in the dictionary as the place where one lives, but oh I believe it means so much more. When we say we feel at home somewhere, we usually mean that we have a feeling of comfort, relaxation and ease. The word home although so simple has great meaning to each individual person.

Laura Ingalls Wilder said “Home is the nicest word there is.” And I would have to agree. To me, it means I have a place of comfort where I can celebrate the wins and cry over the defeats with those that I love the most. It's a place that holds so many memories that can be reflected on. It's a place I can retreat to for relaxation when needed and have fun and laughter as we celebrate life. It's a place I am thankful for everyday and is a reminder that I am truly blessed.
